My First Try At Sculpting

Hi here I am again, sorry for being away so long, will try harder to post more regularly.  I didn't really have anything to share for a while there but am back on track again and have a few things I am playing with.  I decided to have a try at sculpting the oven bake clay, which was a lot harder than I originally thought it would be.  Finally I have a wee face that came out of the clay that actually went in the oven and got baked and then painted and I am reasonably happy with him for a first try.   Will now try and make the rest of him and have started some hands today so thats going to be interesting indeed.

So heres a few pics of my first one

  1. He still puts me in mind of Yoda. Maybe Yoda's cousin? I like him!

  2. Yoda or not...he's a cute critter! I think you did a splendid job on him! I can't wait to see how you make out on the rest of his parts :-D (hands and feet that is) haha Keep up the good work and soon you will be hopelessly addicted to the clay like the rest of us. :-)

    Have a good weekend!
